A few short weeks after September 11th,
2001 and with knees slightly wobbly from the communal fear of flying I went ahead
with travel plans. The destination was firstly Barcelona via London to participate in
Euroart V Fair and then afterwards to visit Morocco. It seemed essential to fly last fall
and to prove to myself that I would not be intimidated by bullies and thugs.
Barcelona is a delightful cornucopia of eccentricities. While walking through an
industrial area on the way to a cemetery the following two pictures were shot. They are
sequential negatives in the synchronicity of time, travel and reflection.
